About Us...
This site is under the auspices of Solace International, a non-profit dedicated to building schools where needed and connecting those schools with friends around the world, expanding the world of all students.
Currently Solace International has built 7 schools in Afghanistan for over 3000 students. We are working to build more schools in more countries. A significant start had been already made in Afghanistan building schools for girls.
Recently Overstock.com has funded not only a large school in Sheberghan but provided it with 8 computers and a satellite system and funding for the girls to use the internet in school, most of them for the first time ever.
This internet connection is new and is allowing Solace International to start the S2S website and program. Please visit our parent site for more project information and how you may join in as well. Thanks for visiting.
